Rubbish Clearance Dulwich

Rubbish Clearance in Dulwich and East Dulwich

Whether it is a loft full of boxes in a Victorian terrace off Lordship Lane or a heap of builders’ leftovers in a front garden near Dulwich Village, EM Waste Clearance will collect it, load it and take it away, often on the same day or the next. We cover Dulwich and the surrounding SE21 and SE22 streets for households, landlords and small businesses, with a two or three person uniformed team that does all of the carrying.

What usually needs clearing round here

Much of the local housing is Edwardian and Victorian terraces with narrow hallways, steep stairs and loft conversions, alongside larger detached homes on the Dulwich Estate. Rubbish tends to collect in the same places: lofts, cellars, under-stairs cupboards and side returns. Typical loads include:

• Old furniture, mattresses and rolled-up carpets
• Boxes, bags and general household junk
• Renovation waste such as timber, plasterboard offcuts and old kitchen units
• Green waste and broken garden furniture
• Fridges, washing machines and other white goods

We can’t take hazardous waste, so asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint and gas bottles will need a different route.

Priced on volume, agreed up front

You pay for the space your rubbish takes up in our van and how easy it is to reach. Send a few photos over WhatsApp to 07531 148 585 and we’ll come back with a fixed price, agreed before any lifting begins. For plenty of people in Dulwich this works out cheaper than a skip, and it avoids trying to find room for one on a road where parking is already tight. No skip means no permit to sort out with Southwark Council and nothing sitting outside for a week collecting the neighbours’ junk as well.

Where it ends up

We are an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885), fully licensed and insured, and you receive a waste transfer note on every job. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and anything in decent condition is passed on where we can. Nothing is ever fly-tipped. Our crews work right across Dulwich, East Dulwich, West Dulwich, Herne Hill, Peckham Rye, Nunhead, Camberwell and Sydenham Hill, and we sweep up before we leave.

Not sure how much you have? That is normal. Most people underestimate a loft or cellar until it is all on the landing. Photos from a couple of angles are enough for us to give a fair price, and that price is confirmed with you before anything is lifted, so you know exactly where you stand.
