Furniture Disposal Loughton

Furniture Disposal Across Loughton and Debden

New sofa arriving on Saturday and nowhere to put the old one? Clearing a bedroom for a nursery, or emptying a flat at the end of a tenancy? EM Waste Clearance collects unwanted furniture and appliances across Loughton, Debden and the neighbouring parts of Epping Forest District, with a fixed price agreed before anything leaves the house.

From Debden flats to forest-edge houses

Loughton’s housing covers a lot of ground. The Debden estate has plenty of flats and maisonettes with communal stairs, where heavy furniture has to be carried down several floors. Around the High Road and the roads near Loughton station there are Victorian and Edwardian houses with narrow hallways and tight turns on the stairs, and towards the forest there are larger detached homes with big rooms and big furniture to match. We collect from any room on any floor, and we take large items apart on site to protect walls, banisters and door frames. You don’t need to move anything to the kerb.

Parking can be tight on residential roads close to the Central line stations at Loughton and Debden, so it helps to mention access when you book. We’ll plan the van position and the timing around it.

Items we collect

• Sofas, sofa beds, armchairs and footstools
• Mattresses, beds, bunk beds and bed frames
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside cabinets
• Dining tables, chairs, desks and office chairs
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, dishwashers and cookers

Single items are welcome, and we’re equally happy to fill a van. If you’re only clearing part of a room, show us what’s going and what’s staying and we’ll leave everything else exactly as it was.

Quicker, cleaner, properly recycled

Council bulky waste collections can take weeks to arrive, and many charities won’t accept upholstered furniture without fire safety labels. We can often collect the same or next day. Good quality pieces are passed on for reuse, metal, timber and fabric are recycled, white goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and we never fly-tip.

We’re a family run business with more than 15 years’ experience, fully licensed and insured, and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885). Every furniture collection in Loughton comes with a waste transfer note. Landlords and letting agents find this especially useful when clearing rental properties between tenants.
