House Clearance Chislehurst

Chislehurst House Clearance Services

Many houses in Chislehurst are large and have been family homes for a long time. Around the Common, Bickley Park Road and the roads near Elmstead Woods, it is not unusual for a clearance to involve five or six bedrooms, a loft, a cellar and a garden full of outbuildings. EM Waste Clearance has more than 15 years’ experience of house clearances, and we know that bigger homes need good planning, enough people and a lot of care.

Probate clearances

A large proportion of the house clearances in an established area like Chislehurst come after a bereavement. We understand that families may have mixed feelings about letting things go. Our team works quietly and respectfully, and we set aside personal papers, photographs, letters, documents and keepsakes so the family can decide what to keep. We regularly work alongside solicitors, executors and estate agents, and can take instructions directly from them. If you are not local, we can collect keys and send photos once the house is clear.

Downsizing and house sales

If you are moving from a larger Chislehurst home to something smaller, we can clear what you no longer need once you have taken your favourite pieces. We can also empty a house ahead of a sale so it is ready for viewings, surveys or completion. Good furniture and household items are donated to charity where possible. Antique and older pieces that are still sound often find a new home this way rather than being scrapped.

How we work

• Photos by WhatsApp or a visit to assess the property
• A fixed price agreed before work begins
• A uniformed team of two or three people
• All dismantling, carrying and loading done by us
• Personal items kept aside, not thrown out
• Up to 90% of waste recycled or reused, never fly-tipped
• A swept property and a waste transfer note

Long drives and large plots usually make loading easy, but some roads near the village centre are narrow, and parking around Royal Parade can be busy. Let us know about access when you book and we will plan around it. Same day or next day clearances are often available if you are working to a deadline.

We are fully licensed and insured and registered with the Environment Agency (CBDU333885). We cannot take hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, gas bottles or liquid paint.

We also cover Bickley, Petts Wood, Sidcup and Mottingham. To discuss a Chislehurst house clearance, call free on 0800 910 1700 or WhatsApp photos to 07531 148 585.
