Furniture Disposal Epping

Furniture Disposal in Epping and Nearby Villages

EM Waste Clearance collects unwanted furniture and household appliances from homes in Epping and across the surrounding villages. Whether it’s one tired armchair or the contents of a whole house, our uniformed team does the lifting, dismantling and loading. You’ll be given a fixed price before we start, worked out from how much space the items take up in the van and how easy the access is.

Period properties and tight staircases

Epping has a good number of older homes, from the period cottages and townhouses either side of the High Street to the Victorian houses on the roads leading down towards the station. Many have narrow staircases, low beams and doorways that were never designed with modern furniture in mind. When a wardrobe or bed won’t come out in one piece, we dismantle it on site to protect walls, door frames and banisters. Newer houses in Coopersale, Thornwood and North Weald are usually more straightforward, but upstairs flats with no lift still mean careful carrying, which we’re happy to do. You never need to move anything to the kerb.

The High Street gets busy, particularly on market day, so if you’re near the town centre, mention it when you book and we’ll plan parking and timing to suit.

What we take away

• Sofas, armchairs, sofa beds and recliners
• Beds, bed frames, headboards and mattresses
• Wardrobes, dressers, chests of drawers and cabinets
• Dining tables, chairs and desks
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers and other white goods

Better than waiting weeks

Council bulky waste collections can take weeks, and many charities won’t take upholstered furniture without fire safety labels. We can often come same day or next day, and we take single items as happily as full loads.

We also make sure your furniture is dealt with properly. Good quality items are passed on for reuse where possible, while metal, timber and fabric are recycled. White goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and we never fly-tip.

EM Waste Clearance is a family run business with 15+ years’ experience and over 7,500 happy customers. We’re fully licensed and insured, registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885), and every job comes with a waste transfer note. We cover Epping, Theydon Bois, Coopersale, Thornwood, North Weald Bassett, Epping Green and Chipping Ongar.
