Furniture Disposal Harlow

Harlow Furniture Disposal From Any Floor

Harlow was one of the first post-war new towns, and its neighbourhoods are packed with flats, maisonettes and terraced houses set along footpaths and green spaces. That design works well for everyday living but less well for moving a sofa. With stairwells to tackle and parking often a short walk away, furniture collection is a job best left to a team that does the carrying. EM Waste Clearance collects unwanted furniture across Harlow and its CM17, CM18, CM19 and CM20 postcodes.

Neighbourhoods we cover

We work throughout the town, including Old Harlow, Potter Street, Church Langley, Newhall, Great Parndon, Little Parndon, Netteswell, Staple Tye, Bush Fair and Kingsmoor, and nearby villages such as Roydon, Nazeing and North Weald. Whether you’re in a 1950s maisonette near The Stow or a new-build townhouse in Newhall, we collect from any room and any floor. Large items are dismantled on site when needed, so they come out without damaging walls, banisters or communal doors.

Items we take

• Sofas, armchairs and sofa beds, including corner units
• Mattresses, divans and bed frames of every size
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers and storage units
• Dining tables, chairs, desks and shelving
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines and cookers

Single items are welcome, from one mattress to a full van load.

Why not wait for a bulky collection?

Council bulky collections can take weeks to arrange, and many charities won’t accept upholstered furniture without a fire label. If you’re handing back keys at the end of a tenancy, or the new bed arrives tomorrow, that isn’t much use. We can often help on the same day or the next, with a fixed price agreed before we start. The price is based on how much space your items take up in the van and the access, including stairs and any walk from where we can park.

Whether it’s a quick sofa disposal or a whole flat of furniture, we try to keep it out of landfill. Good quality pieces are passed on for reuse where possible, and the rest is separated so metal, timber and fabric can be recycled. White goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and we never fly-tip.

We’re a family run company with 15+ years’ experience, fully licensed and insured, and registered with the Environment Agency (CBDU333885). Every Harlow collection comes with a waste transfer note.
