Furniture Disposal New Ash Green

Furniture Disposal in New Ash Green

Getting rid of a sofa is hard enough in an ordinary street. In New Ash Green, where many front doors open onto footpaths and the nearest parking might be a shared garage court, it can feel close to impossible without help. EM Waste Clearance provides furniture disposal across the village and the wider DA3 area, collecting directly from inside your home.

What we’ll take

• Sofas, sofa beds, armchairs and footstools
• Beds, bed frames, headboards and mattresses
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers, sideboards and cabinets
• Dining tables and chairs, desks and bookcases
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers and other white goods

One item or a whole house worth, it makes no difference to us. If you’ve just had a new bed delivered and need the old mattress gone, we can do that.

Inside the house to the van

There’s no need to drag anything outside. Our team collects from any room and any floor, and we dismantle wardrobes, bed frames and bulky sofas on site where that’s the safest way out. It protects your walls, door frames and banisters, which matters in houses with open staircases and tight turns. Then we carry each piece along the path to the van ourselves.

Why not the council or a charity?

Council bulky waste collections can take weeks, and you’re usually expected to leave items outside for collection, which isn’t easy when you don’t have a driveway. Many charities also won’t take upholstered furniture unless it still has its fire safety label. Our furniture disposal service is often available the same day or next day, and we come into the house to get it.

Furniture that’s still in good condition is passed on for reuse. Everything else is broken down so that metal, timber and fabric can be recycled. White goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, and fridges and freezers are taken to licensed facilities that handle the gases safely. You get a waste transfer note for the collection.

Prices are fixed before we start, based on how much van space the items take and the access. A photo on WhatsApp is usually enough to quote a sofa disposal or a few items. We are family run, licensed waste carriers (CBDU333885), and have helped over 7,500 customers. Besides New Ash Green, we collect from Hartley, Longfield, Ash, West Kingsdown and Fawkham.

Moving house? We can collect the old furniture the day before or the day after your removal, so nothing unwanted travels with you.
