Furniture Disposal New Romney

Furniture Disposal Across New Romney and Romney Marsh

New Romney sits at the heart of Romney Marsh, with Littlestone-on-Sea and Greatstone-on-Sea stretching along the coast beside it. Much of the housing here is bungalows, chalets and holiday homes, along with family houses in the town itself. Our furniture disposal service in New Romney collects unwanted furniture and appliances from all of them, without you having to carry a thing.

Seaside bungalows and holiday lets

Bungalows make furniture disposal easier in one way, with no stairs, but bulky sofas and wardrobes still need careful handling through hallways and porches. We dismantle large items on site where needed, so they come out without scraping walls or doorframes. Holiday home owners in Littlestone, Greatstone and St Mary’s Bay often use us to replace worn beds and sofas between seasons, or to clear a property before it’s sold. For houses and flats with stairs, we collect from any floor.

Items we take

• Sofas, armchairs and sofa beds
• Beds, bed frames and mattresses
• Wardrobes, drawers and cabinets
• Dining tables, chairs and desks
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers and other white goods

Single items are welcome, from one mattress to a full van load. There’s no need to move anything outside first; we collect from whichever room it’s in.

Faster and greener than the alternatives

Council bulky collections can take weeks to come round, and many charities won’t accept upholstered furniture without fire labels. We can often collect the same day or next day. Good quality furniture is passed on for reuse wherever possible. The rest is broken down so metal, timber and fabric can be recycled. White goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. We never fly-tip, and we’re an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885).

You’ll get a fixed price before we start, based on how much space the items take up in the van and how easy the access is. Our two or three person team is uniformed, fully insured and family run, with over 15 years’ experience, and we sweep up before we leave. Every job includes a waste transfer note.

We cover New Romney, Littlestone-on-Sea, Greatstone-on-Sea, St Mary’s Bay, Dymchurch, Lydd, Old Romney and Dungeness, across Folkestone and Hythe district.

Parking is usually straightforward on the coastal roads, but let us know if your bungalow is on an unmade road or private lane and we’ll plan the van’s approach. You don’t need to empty drawers or wardrobes in advance if time is short; we can bag loose contents and take them too, as long as nothing hazardous is mixed in.
