Garden Clearance Saffron Walden

Saffron Walden Garden Clearance by EM Waste Clearance

From walled gardens behind the old town houses to the long plots attached to cottages in the surrounding villages, Saffron Walden is a place where people take their gardens seriously. That also means a fair amount of waste when a garden is being reworked or rescued. EM Waste Clearance clears and removes it, so you get a blank canvas without the trips to the tip.

What a clearance covers

• Grass cuttings, leaves, branches and hedge trimmings
• Fencing panels, posts, trellis and old decking
• Paving slabs, bricks, rubble and turf
• Garden furniture, pots, barbecues and play equipment
• Sheds, greenhouses and summer houses, dismantled on site

Everything is separated as it’s loaded. Green waste is composted, and timber, metal and hardcore go for recycling. That’s how we manage to recycle or reuse up to 90% of what we collect.

Common reasons to call

New owners often find the garden of an older Saffron Walden property has been left to go wild, with rubbish hidden under the growth. Others have just finished a landscaping project and need the old paving, turf and spoil taken away. And with plenty of homes in CB10 and CB11 going on the market, many sellers and landlords want the garden cleared before photos or viewings.

To be clear about our role: we clear and remove waste, we don’t do gardening. We don’t offer tree work, hedge trimming or cutting back overgrown gardens. If your garden needs cutting back before it can be cleared, mention it when you call and we’ll talk through the options.

Access and parking

Narrow medieval streets and limited parking in the centre of Saffron Walden can make a skip awkward, and on the road it would need a permit. We avoid all of that. Our van loads and leaves, nothing sits on the drive, and many customers find it cheaper than a skip. Our two or three person uniformed team carries everything through side gates, passages or the house if needed, and sweeps up before leaving.

The price is fixed before work starts and reflects the space the waste takes in the van and how easy it is to reach. Same day or next day slots are often available. We’re licensed and insured, an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885), and you get a waste transfer note on every job. We can’t take hazardous waste like asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint or gas bottles.
