Rubbish Clearance Stansted Mountfitchet

Rubbish Clearance in Stansted Mountfitchet, Done in One Visit

Whether it’s a garage that has slowly filled up, a loft you’ve been meaning to tackle or a pile of bags left after a big clear-out, EM Waste Clearance can take it away. We cover Stansted Mountfitchet and the surrounding Uttlesford villages, and our two or three person uniformed team does all the lifting and loading, so you don’t carry a thing.

The village is an unusual mix of housing: older cottages and terraces along Lower Street and up Chapel Hill, larger family homes towards Bentfield End, and newer estates off Forest Hall Road. Parking on the older lanes can be tight, so we think about where the van will stop before we turn up and keep the work tidy for the neighbours.

What we can take

• General household junk, bags and boxes
• Old furniture, mattresses and white goods
• Garage, loft and cellar clear-outs
• DIY waste such as timber, plasterboard offcuts and old carpet
• Green waste and broken garden furniture

We can’t take hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint or gas bottles, but almost everything else from an ordinary home is fine.

Why plenty of people skip the skip

A skip on a narrow lane often needs a permit, sits outside for days and still leaves you doing the loading. With us there’s no permit and nothing left behind on the drive. The price is fixed before we start, worked out from how much space your rubbish takes up in the van and how easy the access is, and in many cases that works out cheaper than a skip.

Send a few photos over WhatsApp and we can usually give you a quote quickly. Same day or next day collections are often available, which helps if you’re getting ready for a move or a sale.

Recycling and paperwork

We’re an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885), fully licensed and insured, and every job comes with a waste transfer note so you have proof your rubbish was handled legally. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and items that still have life in them are passed on where possible. We never fly-tip.

Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm. Tell us roughly what needs to go, whether you’ll be home or can leave access open, and where the van can stop, and we’ll take it from there. You don’t need to sort anything into piles beforehand.

As well as Stansted Mountfitchet itself (CM24), we regularly cover Elsenham, Birchanger, Ugley, Henham, Manuden, Takeley and Quendon.
