Rubbish Clearance Westminster

Westminster Rubbish Removal for Flats, Mews and Townhouses

Space is tight across Westminster. Most people live in mansion block flats, stucco terraces or converted townhouses, and kerbside space is limited and heavily controlled. A skip is often out of the question. Our van-and-crew approach suits the borough well: we arrive, carry everything out ourselves, load quickly and leave the area swept.

Getting the job done in a crowded borough

Much of Westminster sits inside the Congestion Charge zone and loading restrictions are common, so we plan each job before we arrive. Tell us about porters, service entrances, lift sizes or a mews where a van can pull in, and we will work with it. For a mansion block in Maida Vale or a basement flat in Pimlico, we bring enough people to keep the job moving and the van outside for as little time as possible.

Stairs and long carries are normal here, and they are reflected in the price, which is set by the volume of rubbish and the access. You get a fixed price before we start.

Mews streets around Bayswater and Marylebone can actually be easier than main roads, because a van can often pull in close to the door. Busy routes such as Edgware Road, Warwick Way or Harrow Road need more planning, so we may suggest an early slot when there is less traffic. Either way we protect hallways and lift interiors where needed, and we take apart wardrobes and bed frames inside the flat rather than forcing them round tight landings.

Common Westminster collections

• Furniture replaced after a redecoration, including sofas and beds
• Mattresses and old white goods
• Rubbish from basement storage and coal vaults
• Packaging and debris left after a refurbishment
• Clutter from roof terraces and small courtyard gardens
• Bags of household waste that won’t fit in the bin store

We cannot take hazardous items such as asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint or gas bottles.

Recycling first

Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and good furniture is passed to charity where possible. We never fly-tip, and you receive a waste transfer note confirming your rubbish was handled by a registered carrier. That matters in a borough where many residents are leaseholders and managing agents often ask for proof of disposal.

We serve all Westminster postcodes, including SW1 around Victoria and Pimlico, W1 in Marylebone and Fitzrovia, W2 in Bayswater and Paddington, and NW8 in St John’s Wood.
