Wait & Load Chelmsford

Chelmsford Wait and Load Rubbish Removal

Chelmsford has grown quickly, and its housing shows it. Close to the city centre you’ll find Victorian and Edwardian terraces around Moulsham and New Writtle Street with on-street parking only. Further out there are 1960s and 70s estates in Springfield and Great Baddow, and newer developments in places like Chelmer Village. In many of these, a skip is awkward. Our wait and load service gives you a van and crew that wait while you load, then take everything away in one go.

When a skip doesn’t make sense

A skip on the road in Chelmsford needs a permit and a legal place to sit, and once it’s there anyone passing can add to it. On a narrow terraced street it can block parking for days. With wait and load:

• Nothing is left on the road or pavement
• There’s no skip permit to apply for
• Only your waste goes in the van
• The job is finished when the van pulls away

Projects we help clear

Chelmsford homeowners use wait and load for refits and extensions, garden makeovers, and sorting out lofts and garages. Trades working in CM1 and CM2 use it to clear a site at the end of a job without arranging a skip exchange. Landlords use it between tenancies, especially in flats near the station where parking is limited.

The customer does the loading, which is useful when you want to sort as you go, but our crew can help load on request. We take most non-hazardous waste: rubble, timber, plasterboard offcuts, old kitchens and bathrooms, furniture, garden waste and general household rubbish. We cannot take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint.

Licensed disposal you can rely on

All waste we collect in Chelmsford goes to licensed facilities, and up to 90% is recycled or reused. You receive a waste transfer note on every job. We’re fully licensed and insured, registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885), and we never fly-tip.

We’re a family-run business with over 15 years’ experience and more than 7,500 happy customers across London, Essex and Kent. As well as Chelmsford itself we cover Writtle, Broomfield, Galleywood, Springfield, Great Baddow and Moulsham, often with same day or next day availability.

A tip for Chelmsford jobs: if you’re on a residents’ parking street near the centre, mention it when booking so we can plan where the van stops.
