Wait & Load Hockley

Wait and Load in Hockley

Hockley is mostly family homes, bungalows and chalet houses spread along Main Road and Spa Road and out towards Hockley Woods and Hawkwell. Plots are often generous, which means big garden jobs, but many drives are only just long enough for the cars. Our wait and load service in Hockley lets you clear waste without giving up the drive. A van and crew turn up, wait while you load, and then they’re gone along with the rubbish.

Popular Hockley projects

• Garden overhauls near the woods: branches, green waste, turf and old fencing
• Bungalow and chalet renovations, including loft conversions
• Kitchen and bathroom swaps
• Garage, shed and loft clear-outs
• Builders and trades clearing waste between stages

A skip alternative without the downsides

If a skip has to go on the road it needs a permit from Rochford District Council. Even on a drive, it sits there for days and can fill up with other people’s rubbish. Wait and load avoids that: nothing is left outside, there’s no permit to apply for and you only load what you choose. It’s a good way to sort through a clear-out item by item.

Loading and accepted waste

You load the van while our crew waits. If you’d like a hand, our crew can help load on request. We take most non-hazardous household, garden and building waste: rubble, plasterboard offcuts, timber, old kitchens and bathrooms, furniture, garden waste and general household rubbish. We can’t take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint.

The price depends on the volume and weight of the waste, so it’s on request. Send photos on WhatsApp to 07531 148 585, call us, or use the quote form. We’re a family-run business with 15+ years’ experience and over 7,500 happy customers. We’re fully licensed and insured, registered with the Environment Agency (CBDU333885), and all waste goes to licensed facilities where up to 90% is recycled or reused. You get a waste transfer note on every job and we never fly-tip. Same day or next day visits are often available.

Bungalows and chalet homes in the area often have long gardens and outbuildings, so clear-outs can turn up more than people expect. You only load what you want gone, and if there’s more than expected the van can usually take it on the same visit. If access to the back of the property is awkward, mention it when you send photos.

It also works well for smaller jobs where a skip would be too big.

We also cover Hawkwell, Hullbridge, Ashingdon, Rochford and Rayleigh. Ring free on 0800 910 1700 or WhatsApp photos for a wait and load price in Hockley.
