Wait & Load Teddington

Wait and Load in Teddington: A Skip Alternative That Leaves Nothing Behind

Teddington has a lot of Victorian and Edwardian terraces with short front gardens or none at all, and side streets off the High Street and Broad Street are often lined with parked cars from end to end. Getting a skip down one of those roads, then leaving it there for a week, rarely goes smoothly. Our wait and load service is the simpler route: we bring a van and crew to your door, you load your waste, and we drive it away the moment you are done.

How the van works on your street

The van pulls up outside, or as close as the road allows, and our crew waits while you carry the waste out. You set the pace, sorting as you go if you are clearing a loft or a garage. If you want a hand with heavier items, just ask and the crew can help load. Once the van is full or your pile is gone, it leaves, so there is nothing sitting on the road overnight for passers-by to fill up.

Because no skip is placed on the highway, you do not need a skip permit from Richmond upon Thames council, and you will not have to worry about a skip blocking a neighbour’s space in a residents’ parking bay.

Projects we see across TW11

• Kitchen and bathroom refits in period houses near Teddington station
• Garden overhauls on the larger plots towards Bushy Park and Hampton Wick
• DIY strip-outs: old carpets, timber, plasterboard offcuts and rubble
• Builders and trades who need a site cleared between stages
• Clear-outs before a move in Strawberry Hill, Fulwell or Hampton Hill

Most non-hazardous household, garden and building waste can go in the van. We cannot take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint, so keep those aside and we can talk you through the options.

Pricing and paperwork

There is no fixed rate on the website because every load is different. The price depends on the volume and weight of what goes in the van. The quickest way to get a figure is to WhatsApp a few photos to 07531 148 585, call us, or fill in the quote form. Same day or next day slots are often available.

Everything we collect goes to licensed facilities, and up to 90% of it is recycled or reused. You get a waste transfer note on every job, and nothing we carry is ever fly-tipped. We are a family run business with over 15 years in the trade, fully insured and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885).

If you are weighing up a wait and load skip against a traditional one for your Teddington project, give us a call. We cover the whole of TW11 and the surrounding area, from the riverside near Teddington Lock to the streets around Stanley Road.
