Furniture Disposal Brentwood

Furniture Disposal in Brentwood and the Surrounding Villages

Getting rid of a sofa, a heavy wardrobe or an old fridge freezer in Brentwood is rarely as simple as it sounds. Plenty of homes sit on busy roads with limited parking, and most large furniture will not fit in the back of a car anyway. EM Waste Clearance offers a straightforward furniture disposal service across the CM13, CM14 and CM15 postcodes, with a two or three person uniformed team who carry everything out for you.

We cover the whole Borough of Brentwood, from flats and townhouses near the High Street to larger detached homes in Shenfield, Hutton and Ingrave. Whether you have one mattress or a full van load of bedroom furniture, the process is the same: send us a few photos, agree a fixed price, and we turn up and take it away.

What we collect

• Sofas, armchairs, sofa beds and footstools
• Beds, bed frames, divans and mattresses
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers, sideboards and cabinets
• Dining tables, chairs and home office desks
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers and other white goods

Upstairs, through tight doorways, out of the box room

You don’t need to drag anything to the kerb. We collect from any room on any floor, including upstairs flats without a lift near Brentwood station and converted period houses in Warley. Large pieces such as tall wardrobes or corner sofas are dismantled on site so we don’t scrape walls, banisters or door frames on the way out. If you’re selling up in Shenfield and the buyers want the house empty, we can take away the unwanted pieces before completion.

Why not wait for a bulky collection?

Council bulky waste collections can take weeks to come round, and many charity shops won’t accept upholstered furniture unless it still has its fire safety labels. That leaves a lot of people in Pilgrims Hatch, Doddinghurst and Kelvedon Hatch with a sofa sitting in the garage for months. Same day or next day collection is often available with us, and the price is based on how much space your items take up in the van and how easy the access is, so you know the cost before anything is lifted.

We’re a family run, fully licensed and insured business, registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885), and you get a waste transfer note on every job. Good quality furniture is passed on for reuse where possible. Metal, timber and fabric are separated for recycling, white goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and nothing is ever fly-tipped.
