Furniture Disposal Billericay

Billericay Furniture Disposal Without the Heavy Lifting

When a new sofa is arriving on Friday and the old one is still in the lounge, you need it gone quickly. EM Waste Clearance provides furniture disposal across Billericay and the CM11 and CM12 postcodes, collecting bulky items from inside your home and making sure they’re reused or recycled rather than dumped.

Billericay has a real mix of homes, from the older cottages and Georgian buildings around the High Street to the large estates built on the edges of town, such as Queens Park, and bigger detached houses towards Stock and Great Burstead. Each brings its own challenges for sofa disposal: narrow staircases, tight hallways, or long driveways. Our team deals with all of that for you.

Items we regularly take away

• Three-piece suites, corner sofas, recliners and sofa beds
• Double and king size beds, bunk beds and mattresses
• Wardrobes, dressers, bookcases and display cabinets
• Dining sets, office desks and chairs
• Washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, fridges and freezers

How a collection works

Send us a photo or two on WhatsApp, or call us, and tell us roughly what you have and where it is in the house. We price by the space the items take up in the van and how easy the access is, and the price is agreed before we start. On the day, a two or three person uniformed team arrives, dismantles anything too big to get through the doors, carries it out from whichever room or floor it’s on, and sweeps up afterwards. Same day or next day slots are often available.

Better than leaving it in the garage

Council bulky collections can take weeks, and many charities won’t accept upholstered items that have lost their fire labels. So sofas and armchairs often end up stuck in garages across Ramsden Heath, Little Burstead and Crays Hill. We can take a single item or a full van load, which also makes us useful for downsizing, clearing a rented property or emptying a room before decorating.

Good quality furniture is passed on for reuse where we can. Otherwise metal, timber and fabric are recycled, white goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that handle the gases safely. We’re fully licensed and insured, registered with the Environment Agency (CBDU333885), and provide a waste transfer note on every job. We’re family run, with more than 15 years’ experience.
