Furniture Disposal Basildon

Basildon Furniture Disposal, Collected From Your Door Inwards

Basildon was built as a new town, and many of its homes share a particular layout: terraces fronting onto footpaths, with parking in nearby courts or garage blocks rather than outside the front door. That’s fine day to day, but it makes moving a sofa or a wardrobe much harder, because there’s often a walk between the house and the nearest place to park. EM Waste Clearance collects unwanted furniture across Basildon and the wider borough, and our team handles that carry for you.

Where we collect

We cover the whole of Basildon, including Pitsea, Vange, Laindon, Lee Chapel North, Kingswood, Fryerns and Langdon Hills, plus Noak Bridge, Wickford and Billericay. Postcodes SS13, SS14, SS15 and SS16 are all included. We collect from houses, maisonettes and flats on any floor, and we dismantle large items on site where needed so they come out without damage. There’s no need to drag anything out to the footpath or kerb.

Typical items

• Sofas, armchairs and sofa beds
• Mattresses, divans, bunk beds and bed frames
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers and TV units
• Dining tables, chairs, desks and shelving
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines and cookers

Single items are welcome. We’ll come for one mattress as readily as for a full van load.

A faster alternative

Council bulky collections can take weeks to book, and many charities refuse upholstered furniture that doesn’t have a fire label. That can leave you living with an old suite long after the new one has arrived. We can often do sofa disposal in Basildon on the same day or the next, at a fixed price agreed beforehand. The price is based on how much space the items take up in the van and the access, including any walk from the parking court.

Good furniture is passed on for reuse wherever possible. The rest is broken down so metal, timber and fabric can be recycled, white goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and we never fly-tip.

We’re a family run company with more than 15 years’ experience, fully licensed and insured, and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885). You’ll get a waste transfer note with every Basildon collection.
