Wait & Load Basildon

Wait and Load Service in Basildon

Basildon was built as a new town, and many estates were designed with homes facing footpaths and green spaces, with cars kept in rear parking courts or garage blocks. It’s a layout that works well day to day but makes a skip difficult: there’s often no road outside your front door to put one on. Our wait and load service solves this. We bring a van and crew to the nearest point we can reach, wait while you load, and drive off with everything.

The problem with skips in Basildon

• Parking courts are shared, so a skip can block neighbours’ cars
• Skips left in the road need a permit
• An open skip soon fills up with other people’s rubbish
• It can sit outside for days waiting for collection

With wait and load, nothing is left behind and there’s no permit to arrange.

Who it suits

Wait and load is popular across Basildon for kitchen and bathroom refits, decorating and DIY, garden clear-ups and clear-outs where you go through things as you load. Trades working in Laindon, Pitsea and Vange use it to clear waste from a job without waiting on a skip. Homes in Langdon Hills, Noak Bridge and Kingswood use it when the drive is taken up by cars.

The customer loads the van, and our crew can help load on request. Most non-hazardous waste is accepted: rubble, timber, plasterboard offcuts, old kitchens, bathroom suites, garden waste, furniture and general household rubbish. We can’t take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint.
