Rubbish Clearance Hawkhurst

Rubbish Clearance Hawkhurst and the Surrounding Weald

Hawkhurst is a village of two halves, with the shops and the Colonnade up on Highgate and the green at The Moor further down the hill, and it’s surrounded by farmland, lanes and scattered houses. Rural properties tend to have more storage than town homes: barns, garages, stables, lofts and outbuildings that slowly fill up over the years. When it’s finally time to clear them, the nearest tip is a drive away and a car boot doesn’t go far. EM Waste Clearance offers rubbish clearance in Hawkhurst with a van, a team and a fixed price.

Typical rubbish we collect in the area

• Junk from barns, stables, garages and outbuildings
• Old furniture, mattresses and carpets
• Broken garden furniture, pots and old fencing
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines and other white goods
• Boxes, bags and general household clutter
• Timber offcuts and light DIY waste

We can’t remove hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint or gas bottles. Older farm buildings sometimes contain these, so please tell us about anything you’re unsure of when you get in touch.

Long drives and narrow lanes

A skip is often impractical out here. Lanes around Hawkhurst can be narrow, verges are soft, and a skip lorry can struggle with a gravel drive or a low gateway. With us there’s no skip, no permit and nothing left standing for a week. A uniformed team of two or three carries everything to the van, loads it, and sweeps up afterwards. In many cases it costs less than skip hire, because you pay only for the space your rubbish takes up in the van.

The fixed price also reflects access. If the rubbish is in a barn at the far end of a field track, or up in a loft above a garage, just mention it and we’ll allow for it. Sending photos on WhatsApp is the quickest way to get a figure.

Disposed of the right way

Fly-tipping is a real problem on country lanes, and as the person who produced the waste you have a legal duty of care for where it ends up. We’re an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885), fully licensed and insured, and we hand over a waste transfer note on every job. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and items still in good condition are passed on where possible.

From Hawkhurst we also cover Cranbrook, Benenden, Sandhurst, Goudhurst, Iden Green, Four Throws and Gills Green. Same day or next day collections are often available, depending on where you are in the village and how much there is.
