House Clearance West Wickham

House Clearance Services for West Wickham Homes

Clearing a whole house is a different job from clearing a few bags of rubbish. There are decisions to make, things to keep, and often a deadline from a solicitor, agent or buyer. EM Waste Clearance carries out full and part house clearances in West Wickham and across the BR4 area, working at a pace that suits you and treating the property and its contents with care.

Probate and bereavement clearances

Many of the houses we clear in West Wickham have been family homes for decades, often the 1930s semis and detached houses around Coney Hall, Wickham Court and the roads off Layhams Road. When someone has passed away, we work respectfully and without rushing. As we go, we set aside personal papers, photographs and anything that looks important, so the family can go through them before anything leaves the house. Nothing is thrown away in a hurry, and if you want certain pieces kept back for relatives, we simply leave them in a room you choose.

If you live some distance away, we can collect keys, send photos once the work is done and deal directly with the solicitor, executor or estate agent handling the sale.

Part clearances and downsizing

Not every job empties the house. We often clear a single floor, a loft or a garage, or take away the furniture that won’t fit when someone moves into a smaller place nearer Hayes or Beckenham. Tell us what stays and what goes and we’ll work around it.

• Furniture, beds and mattresses from every room
• White goods, kitchen items and electricals
• Loft and garage contents, including the bits nobody has looked at in years
• Garden furniture and shed contents
• Carpets and general household waste

Landlord and end-of-tenancy clears

Landlords and letting agents in West Wickham, Eden Park and Shirley use us to clear abandoned belongings or old furniture between tenants. We can work to tight turnaround dates, and same day or next day slots are often available.

Whatever the clearance, the price is fixed before we start and is based on how much there is and how easy the access is. Our two or three person team does all the lifting, dismantling and loading, then sweeps through so the rooms are ready for cleaners, decorators or viewings. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, good furniture is passed on where possible, and a waste transfer note is provided on every job under our Environment Agency licence CBDU333885.
