Shed Clearance Broadstairs

Shed Clearance in Broadstairs and Across Thanet

Sheds near the coast take a battering. Salt air and winter winds off the North Foreland mean plenty of timber sheds in Broadstairs end up with rotten panels, leaking felt and doors that no longer close. Some have simply been replaced by a newer shed and the old one is still sitting at the bottom of the garden. Others are perfectly sound but packed so full of old tools and junk that nobody can get inside. EM Waste Clearance deals with both situations, from emptying a shed to taking the whole thing down and removing it.

Two ways we can help

Clearing the contents. If the shed is worth keeping, we empty it and leave it standing. That covers broken mowers, rusty tools, old paint tins that have dried out, garden equipment, boxes and general junk. Liquid paint and chemicals are hazardous waste and we can’t take those.

Removing the shed. We dismantle and take away timber, metal and plastic sheds, plus greenhouses, summer houses and log stores. A wooden base can come up and go with it. We don’t remove concrete bases, so a concrete slab stays where it is. Standard felt roofs are fine, but we can’t take sheds with an asbestos cement roof, so please mention it when you book if you’re not sure what yours is made of.

Getting ready for something new

Many Broadstairs customers book a shed clearance because a new shed, garden room or extension is on the way. Clearing the old one first means the installer can start straight away. Shed clearance is often combined with a full garden clearance, which suits the bungalows around St Peter’s, Kingsgate and Reading Street where there may be a shed, a greenhouse and years of garden waste to deal with at once.
