Wait & Load Chatham

Wait & Load in Chatham

Chatham is built on hills. Streets of Victorian terraces climb steeply away from the town centre and the river towards Luton, the Brook and Chatham Hill, often with cars parked on both sides and no front gardens at all. Further out, Walderslade, Lordswood and Princes Park have estates with tighter roads and shared parking. Whichever part of Chatham you’re in, a skip can be awkward to place and a nuisance once it’s down.

EM Waste Clearance runs a wait and load service across Chatham and the ME4 and ME5 postcodes. A van and crew come to you. You load the waste, the crew waits, and the van leaves with it.

Benefits on Chatham’s Streets

• No skip permit to apply for with Medway Council
• No heavy skip on a sloping road
• No neighbours adding their rubbish to your skip
• No container outside for days while the work carries on

Jobs We Help With

Renovating a terraced house off the High Street, swapping a bathroom in Luton, clearing a garden in Walderslade, emptying a garage in Lordswood or doing up a flat near Chatham station. Builders and trades use wait and load to clear their waste in one visit without a skip on site, and homeowners like being able to sort things as they load. It also saves trying to fit a skip on a road where the kerb is steep and the cars are packed in tight.

You load the van while our crew waits. If you need help with anything heavy, ask and the crew can help load it.

What Can Go in the Van

Most non-hazardous household, garden and building waste, such as rubble, plasterboard offcuts, timber, old kitchens and bathrooms, furniture, garden waste and general rubbish. We’re unable to take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint.
