Furniture Disposal Birchington-on-Sea

Furniture Disposal in Birchington-on-Sea, Straight From Your Room

Many homes in Birchington are bungalows, which makes moving furniture easier in one sense, but it still leaves you with a sofa or a bed that won’t fit in the car. Waiting for a council bulky collection can take weeks, and many charities won’t accept upholstered furniture without fire labels. Our furniture disposal service in Birchington-on-Sea offers a quicker, simpler way to get it gone.

Collected from inside, wherever it is

You don’t need to drag anything to the kerb. We collect from any room and any floor, including flats above the shops on Station Road and upstairs flats in older villas where there’s no lift. Chalet bungalows often have tight staircases into the eaves bedrooms, so where needed we dismantle beds, wardrobes and large sofas on site to protect walls and doorways. For older residents who can’t lift, that makes a real difference. Nobody needs to clear a path or carry anything for us beforehand; just show us what is going.

Furniture and appliances we take

• Sofas, armchairs, riser recliners and sofa beds
• Beds, bed frames, headboards and mattresses
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers, dressers and cabinets
• Dining tables, chairs, desks and bookcases
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines and cookers
• Garden and conservatory furniture

Single items are welcome, from one mattress to a full bungalow’s worth of furniture when downsizing. You pay for the space your items take in the van, at a fixed price agreed before we lift anything.

What happens to it next

Good quality furniture is passed on for reuse wherever possible. The rest is broken down so metal, timber and fabric can be recycled. White goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and we never fly-tip.

We are a family run, fully insured, Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885), and every collection comes with a waste transfer note. If you are looking for sofa disposal or furniture disposal in Birchington-on-Sea, we also cover Minnis Bay, Westgate-on-Sea, Acol, Garlinge, Margate and St Nicholas-at-Wade, often with same day or next day slots.

Many of our local collections happen when a new sofa or bed is on its way. If you tell us your delivery date, we’ll try to collect the old one just beforehand so the room is clear and ready.
