Furniture Disposal Putney

Putney Furniture Disposal, Collected From Any Floor

Putney’s housing stock is full of character, which is lovely until you need to get a king-size bed frame out of a third floor mansion flat. Between the red-brick mansion blocks, the Victorian terraces off the Lower Richmond Road and Upper Richmond Road, and the family houses up towards Putney Heath and West Hill, there’s rarely a simple way to move big furniture. That’s where we come in.

Stairs, landings and tight turns

Many older Putney blocks have no lift, or a lift too small for a sofa. Our two or three person team carries everything down by hand, and we dismantle wardrobes, beds and corner sofas on site so they come out cleanly without scraping walls or banisters. In communal areas we keep the stairs clear and sweep up afterwards. You won’t need to drag anything to the pavement or worry about the neighbours.

Items we collect

• Sofas, armchairs, footstools and sofa beds
• Beds, mattresses, divan bases and bed frames
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers, sideboards and bookcases
• Dining tables, chairs and desks
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, dishwashers and cookers

Whether it’s a single mattress or a full van load, the process is the same. We agree a fixed price before starting, based on the space your furniture takes up in the van and how easy it is to get to.

Parking around SW15

Parking on Putney’s residential streets is mostly permit controlled, and Putney High Street is rarely quiet. Tell us about parking and building access when you book so we can plan the visit properly. Same day or next day slots are often available, and we also work Saturday mornings.

Disposed of the right way

We’re an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885) and never fly-tip. Good quality furniture is passed on for reuse where possible; metal, timber and fabric are separated for recycling. White goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers and fridges and freezers to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and each job comes with a waste transfer note.

Council bulky collections can take weeks to book, and many charities won’t take upholstered furniture without fire labels. If you’re moving flat, clearing a rental or just replacing a sofa, our furniture disposal service is a quicker option. We cover Putney and nearby Roehampton, Southfields, East Putney and Barnes.
