Furniture Disposal Wandsworth

Wandsworth Furniture Disposal for SW18 and Surrounding Streets

Wandsworth is a mix of new riverside apartments near Wandsworth Town and the Thames, rows of Victorian terraces running down to Earlsfield and Southfields, and the larger period houses on the streets around Wandsworth Common, including the Toast Rack. When furniture has to go from any of them, we’ll come in, lift it and take it away, without you having to shift it outside first.

What we collect

• Sofas, armchairs, sofa beds and corner units
• Mattresses, divans, cots and bed frames
• Wardrobes, drawers, shelving and TV units
• Dining tables, chairs, desks and office chairs
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers and cookers

We take single items as happily as a full van load. Our pricing is based on the space your items take up in the van and how easy they are to reach, and the price is fixed before we start.

New-builds, conversions and period houses

Each type of home in Wandsworth comes with its own quirks. Newer apartment blocks often have lift bookings and loading bay rules, so tell us about them and we’ll arrange the visit to suit. Victorian houses converted into flats tend to have narrow shared staircases, and large houses near the Common often have heavy, old-fashioned furniture on upper floors. Our two or three person team handles all of it, dismantling beds, wardrobes and bulky sofas on site to protect walls, doors and communal areas, and sweeping up before we go.

Parking near Garratt Lane and the Common

Most residential streets in Wandsworth are permit controlled, and roads near Southside and the one-way system get heavy traffic. Let us know your parking arrangements when you book and we’ll plan where to stop. Same day or next day collections are often possible, and we work Saturday mornings too.

Reuse and recycling

Good quality furniture is passed on for reuse where possible. The rest is separated so metal, timber and fabric can be recycled. White goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers, while fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and every job comes with a waste transfer note. We never fly-tip.

Council bulky collections can take weeks, and many charities refuse upholstered furniture without fire labels. If you’re moving out, renovating or just want an old suite gone this week, our furniture disposal service is the quicker route. We’re family run, licensed and insured, with over 15 years’ experience and more than 7,500 happy customers.

We cover Wandsworth plus Earlsfield, Southfields, Putney and Battersea.
