Rubbish Clearance Burnham-on-Crouch

Rubbish Clearance in Burnham-on-Crouch and the Dengie Peninsula

Burnham-on-Crouch sits at the far end of the Crouch Valley line, and anyone who has ordered a skip out here knows it can mean a long wait for delivery, a week of the thing blocking the drive, and another wait for collection. EM Waste Clearance works differently. We cover the town and the wider CM0 area with a van and a uniformed team who load your rubbish and take it away in one visit, so there is nothing left standing outside afterwards.

What people ask us to take

Most of our work in and around Burnham-on-Crouch is ordinary household and garden waste that has built up over time. Typical loads include:

• Old sofas, beds, mattresses and wardrobes, which we dismantle on site if they won’t go through the door
• Fridges, washing machines and other white goods
• Garden waste, broken fencing and rotten sheds from the larger plots out towards Ostend and Creeksea
• Loft and garage clear-outs, including boxes that have sat untouched for years
• Non-hazardous leftovers from kitchen or bathroom refits
• Boat covers, old rope and general clutter from people who keep a vessel at one of the marinas (no fuel cans or gas bottles)

Access around the Quay and the old town

Some of the streets running down towards the Quay and the clock tower are tight, and on a summer weekend with visitors and sailors in town, parking near the High Street is not always easy. When you book, tell us where the van can stop and how far we will be carrying. Our price is based on the volume of rubbish and the access, and we agree a fixed figure with you before anyone lifts a thing. Our team does all the carrying, loading and dismantling, then sweeps the area before we leave.

We also travel out to Southminster, Althorne, Latchingdon, Tillingham and Bradwell-on-Sea, so if you live in one of the Dengie villages the same service applies.

Where your rubbish ends up

EM Waste Clearance is a family-run business with more than 15 years’ experience, fully licensed and insured, and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885). Every load is taken to licensed facilities, and up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused. Furniture in decent condition goes to charity where we can arrange it. You receive a waste transfer note on every job, which is your proof that the waste was disposed of legally and not fly-tipped down a farm track.

Please note we cannot take hazardous items such as asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint or gas bottles.
