Rubbish Clearance Sheerness

Rubbish Clearance Sheerness and the Isle of Sheppey

Getting rid of bulky rubbish on Sheppey can be a hassle. Without a van, it means borrowing one, loading it yourself and making the trip off the island or to whichever site will take it. EM Waste Clearance comes over the Sheppey Crossing to you, clears the rubbish and takes it away, so you don’t have to do any of that. We cover Sheerness in full, including Blue Town, Mile Town and Marine Town, plus Minster, Halfway, Queenborough, Eastchurch and Leysdown.

What Island Homes Tend to Need

Sheerness has rows of Victorian terraced houses close to the seafront and the town centre, while Minster and Halfway have a lot of bungalows and family semis. Further east there are holiday chalets and static caravans. Each brings its own kind of clear-out:

• Terraced house back yards full of old furniture and bags
• Bungalow lofts and garages with years of storage
• Holiday chalet contents at the end of the season
• Garden waste and broken sheds from larger plots
• Old white goods, mattresses and sofas

Simple Pricing, No Skip

Many Sheerness terraced streets have on-street parking only, so a skip would need to sit in the road. That means a permit and the risk of other people filling it. A clearance avoids both. We price by volume and access, agree the figure before starting and stick to it. Our two or three person team carries everything out, loads it and sweeps up. If you’d like a quote without a visit, take some photos and send them on WhatsApp.

Doing It Properly

Fly-tipping is a problem in plenty of coastal areas, and nobody wants to pay someone to take their rubbish only for it to be dumped on a marsh lane. We’re registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885), and every job comes with a waste transfer note showing it was handled legally. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and decent furniture goes to charity where possible. We can’t remove hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint or gas bottles.

We’re open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm, and same day or next day collections are often available. If you’re clearing a property ahead of a sale or a new tenancy, tell us the deadline and we’ll do our best to work to it.

From Sheerness town centre and Beachfields out to Minster, Queenborough and Leysdown, we cover the whole island.
