Shed Clearance Croydon

Shed Clearance and Shed Removal Across Croydon

A lot of Croydon gardens are getting a second life as garden offices, studios and gym rooms, and that usually starts with getting rid of the old shed. Others just need the shed emptying so it can be used again. We do both, across the borough from Thornton Heath and Norbury down to Purley and Coulsdon.

Option one: clear it out

If the structure is sound, we clear the contents and leave the shed in place. Typical loads include broken lawnmowers, old tools, garden equipment, bikes, furniture and boxes of general junk. We can’t take hazardous waste such as chemicals, liquid paint or gas bottles.

Option two: take it all away

For sheds that are rotten, leaking or simply in the way, our team dismantles the building on site and removes it, along with anything inside. That includes:

• Timber sheds and workshops
• Metal and plastic sheds
• Greenhouses, both glass and frame
• Summer houses and log stores
• Wooden bases and bearers

Please check before booking

We don’t remove concrete bases, so if the shed stands on concrete, the slab will be left where it is. Standard felt roofs are fine. We can’t remove sheds with an asbestos cement roof, so if your shed has a sheet roof and you’re not sure what it’s made of, please mention it when you book.

Clearing the way for your installer

If a new shed, garden room or extension is on order, clearing the site first means the installer can start the day they arrive. Larger gardens in Shirley, Selsdon and Sanderstead often have several old outbuildings, and it’s common to combine shed removal with a full garden clearance so everything goes in one visit. Smaller terraced gardens in Addiscombe and South Norwood usually mean carrying panels through the house; we do that carefully and sweep up after.

Your fixed price is agreed before work starts, based on how much space the waste takes in the van and how easy it is to reach. A few WhatsApp photos are usually enough to quote. Timber and metal are recycled and any green waste composted, with up to 90% of everything recycled or reused. Every job includes a waste transfer note, and as a licensed, insured carrier we never fly-tip.

We’re family run with over 15 years’ experience, and same day or next day visits are often possible across Croydon.
