Rubbish Clearance Croydon

Croydon Rubbish Clearance From Town Centre Flats to Suburban Gardens

Croydon is one of the biggest boroughs in London, and rubbish clearance here can mean very different things depending on which part you’re in. Around East and West Croydon it’s mostly flats, many in tall blocks or converted office buildings with lifts, concierges and strict rules about communal areas. Head out to Thornton Heath, Selhurst or South Norwood and you’re into Victorian and Edwardian terraces with tight on-street parking. Further south in Purley, Sanderstead and Coulsdon the houses get bigger, and so do the gardens and garages.

Dealing with access in central Croydon

Loading a van in the town centre needs a bit of planning. Trams run along several of the main roads, parking is restricted and many apartment buildings want removals booked in advance. Tell us about your building when you get in touch, such as whether there’s a goods lift, a loading bay or a time slot we need to stick to, and we’ll plan around it. Our two or three person team carries everything down, dismantles furniture that’s too big for the lift and keeps corridors clear as we go.

What we collect across the borough

• Sofas, beds, mattresses, wardrobes and tables
• Fridges, freezers, cookers and washing machines
• Garden waste, old sheds and broken fencing from the larger plots down south
• Rubbish from loft conversions, extensions and kitchen refits
• Boxes, bags and clutter from a house move

Asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint and gas bottles count as hazardous waste and can’t go in our vans. Pretty much everything else from a normal home or garden can.

Cheaper and easier than a skip

On a terraced street in CR7 or CR0 there’s rarely room for a skip on the drive, so it ends up on the road with a permit, a few days’ wait and the risk of neighbours adding their own rubbish. We avoid all that. We arrive, load up, sweep the area and go, usually on the same or next day you call. The price is fixed in advance and depends only on volume and access.

Responsible disposal

We’re a family-run firm with more than 15 years’ experience and over 7,500 happy customers. We’re fully licensed and insured, and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885). You’ll get a waste transfer note with every Croydon collection. Up to 90% of what we take is recycled or reused, decent items are donated to charity where possible, and nothing is ever fly-tipped.

We cover Croydon town centre and all the surrounding districts, including Addiscombe, Shirley, Thornton Heath, Norbury, South Norwood, Purley and Coulsdon.
