Wait & Load Croydon

Wait & Load in Croydon: Skip Alternative for CR0 and Beyond

Croydon has more flats than most London boroughs, many of them close to East Croydon and West Croydon stations, plus streets of Victorian terraces in Thornton Heath, Selhurst and South Norwood. Busy roads, controlled parking and shared car parks make a skip difficult. Wait and load is the alternative: our van pulls up, the crew wait while you load, and the waste goes with them. It is a practical way to clear a flat, a house or a building site without anything being left at the kerb, and it suits jobs of almost any size because you only fill what you need.

Ideal for

• Flats and apartment blocks in the town centre where a skip isn’t possible
• Terraced streets in Thornton Heath and Selhurst with no driveways
• Kitchen and bathroom refits in Addiscombe and Shirley
• Garden clearances in Sanderstead and Purley
• Builders and trades who need waste gone at the end of a job
• Landlords clearing rentals between tenants

No skip on the street

With a skip you have to find space, possibly get a permit, and then watch it fill with other people’s rubbish. With wait and load none of that happens. Nothing is left on the road, and once loading is done the van leaves. You load at your own pace and can sort as you go. You do the loading, and our crew can help load on request if you need it.

Most non-hazardous household, garden and building waste is accepted. Rubble, plasterboard offcuts, timber, old kitchens and bathrooms, furniture, garden waste and general rubbish are fine. We can’t take hazardous waste such as asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals and liquid paint.

Price, licences and recycling

Prices are based on the volume and weight of the waste and are given on request. To get one, WhatsApp photos to 07531 148 585, call the office on 020 3670 0887, or use our quote form. Same day or next day collections are often available across the borough, including South Croydon, Norbury and New Addiscombe.

Waste goes to licensed facilities, where up to 90% is recycled or reused. Every job comes with a waste transfer note, and nothing is ever fly-tipped. EM Waste Clearance is family run, fully licensed and insured, with over 15 years’ experience and 7,500+ happy customers. Our Environment Agency waste carrier registration is CBDU333885.
