Garden Clearance Croydon

Croydon Garden Clearance and Green Waste Removal

The London Borough of Croydon covers a huge range of gardens. Terraced houses in Thornton Heath and South Norwood tend to have narrow back gardens with no side access, while the interwar and post-war houses in Shirley, Selsdon and Sanderstead often have big plots, many of them on a slope. Whatever the layout, if your garden is full of waste that needs to go, we’ll load it, take it away and leave the space swept.

What we clear from Croydon gardens

• Grass cuttings, leaves, branches and hedge trimmings
• Old fence panels, posts, trellis and rotting decking
• Paving slabs, bricks, rubble and turf from a patio or lawn project
• Garden furniture, BBQs, pots, trampolines and play frames
• Sheds, greenhouses and summer houses, dismantled on site

Slopes, steps and mid-terrace access

Croydon’s southern hills mean plenty of stepped and sloping gardens, particularly around Purley, Sanderstead and Addington. Our team is used to carrying bags and timber up and down steps. For mid-terrace homes with no rear access, we bring everything through the house and protect the floors as we go. Let us know about access when you send photos, because it’s one of the two things, along with volume, that sets your fixed price.

We clear and remove, we don’t garden

EM Waste Clearance is a waste removal service. We don’t offer gardening or tree work, so if your garden needs cutting back before the waste can be reached, mention it when you call and we’ll talk through the options. Once the cutting is done, or if the problem is simply years of accumulated junk and old landscaping materials, we take it from there.

Common reasons people book us include moving into a house where the garden has been neglected, finishing a landscaping project and being left with old slabs and soil, and clearing a garden before a house goes up for sale or a new tenancy begins.

Cheaper and simpler than a skip

A skip on a Croydon street usually needs a permit and blocks a parking space for days, and you still have to fill it yourself. With us, nothing is left on the road and you don’t lift a thing. Green waste goes for composting and timber, metal and hardcore are separated for recycling, with up to 90% recycled or reused overall. You’ll receive a waste transfer note on every job.

Same day or next day is often available across Croydon, Addiscombe, Coulsdon and Norbury.
