Wait & Load Hackney

Wait and Load in Hackney: A Skip Alternative for Tight Streets

Hackney is dense. There are Victorian terraces split into flats, large council and housing association blocks, warehouse conversions and plenty of conservation areas, from De Beauvoir to Clapton. Kerb space is mostly permit parking, and there are cycle routes and modal filters on many residential roads. Put simply, a skip is often more trouble than it is worth. Our wait and load service brings a van and crew to your door instead, waits while you load, and drives the waste away.

No skip, no permit, no extra rubbish

• Nothing left on the road once the job is done
• No skip permit to apply for with the council
• No neighbours or passers-by filling it up overnight
• Works for upstairs flats and homes with no front garden
• Sort as you go and only load what needs to go

Renovations, workshops and clear-outs

Much of the work we see in E8, E5 and E9 is renovation: kitchens and bathrooms being replaced, floors coming up, walls being knocked through. That leaves rubble, timber and plasterboard offcuts, all of which can go in the van. We also help with flat clear-outs around London Fields, garden tidies in Stoke Newington, and trades clearing a job near Mare Street or Hackney Central before the next stage starts.

You do the loading, and our crew can help on request, which makes a difference if you are carrying an old sofa down from a top-floor flat. We cannot take hazardous waste such as asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint.

How pricing works

Each job is priced on the volume and weight of the waste. Prices are on request: WhatsApp a few photos to 07531 148 585, call 0800 910 1700, or use the quote form. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm, and same day or next day collection is often available.

Your waste goes to licensed facilities, with up to 90% recycled or reused. Every job comes with a waste transfer note, and we never fly-tip. EM Waste Clearance is family run, fully licensed and insured, with over 15 years’ experience and Environment Agency waste carrier registration CBDU333885.

We cover the whole borough, including Dalston, Homerton, Clapton, Stoke Newington, Hoxton and Hackney Wick. If you need wait and load rubbish removal, give us a call.

Because the van does not stay, it also suits people working to a tight timetable, such as clearing a flat at the end of a lease or getting a shop unit ready for a fit-out, where waiting days for a skip collection is not practical.

Call free on 0800 910 1700 or WhatsApp photos for a price.
