Wait & Load Herne Bay

Herne Bay Wait & Load Service

Herne Bay is a town of Edwardian terraces near the seafront, rows of bungalows in Beltinge and Studd Hill, and newer family estates out towards Greenhill and Hampton. Different houses, same problem: when you’re refitting a kitchen, ripping out a garden or clearing a loft, you need somewhere for the waste to go. A skip is the usual answer, but it isn’t always the best one.

EM Waste Clearance offers wait and load in Herne Bay as a straightforward skip alternative. Our van comes to you, waits while you load it and then leaves with your waste.

When a Van Beats a Skip

• No driveway: many of the terraced roads off Mortimer Street and the High Street have no off-road space.
• No permit: because no skip is placed on the road, there’s no skip permit to apply for.
• No fly-tippers: an open skip on a seafront road attracts other people’s rubbish. A van that leaves after loading does not.
• No waiting: the road is clear the same visit, rather than days later.

Ideal Projects

Bungalow refurbishments and clear-outs in Beltinge, Eddington and Herne. Garden projects such as new patios, fencing or turf in Greenhill and Broomfield. DIY renovations along Central Parade and the streets near Herne Bay station. Builders and trades who need waste taken away as they go, rather than having a skip on site.

You load the van while the crew waits. If you’d like an extra pair of hands, the crew can help load on request.

What Can Go

Most non-hazardous household, garden and building waste is fine. That covers rubble, plasterboard offcuts, timber, old kitchens, bathroom suites, furniture, green waste and general rubbish. We can’t take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint.

How Pricing Works

There is no set price because every load is different. We price on the volume and weight of the waste, so the easiest way to get a quote is to WhatsApp photos or use the quote form. Same day or next day collections are often available in the CT6 area.

Your waste goes to licensed facilities, where up to 90% is recycled or reused, and you get a waste transfer note for every job. We’re a family-run business with over 15 years’ experience and 7,500+ happy customers. We’re fully licensed and insured, and registered with the Environment Agency (CBDU333885).

We cover Herne Bay and the surrounding Canterbury district villages, as well as nearby Whitstable. For a wait and load price, call 0800 910 1700 or send photos on WhatsApp to 07531 148 585.
