Wait & Load Woolwich

Wait & Load Rubbish Removal in Woolwich, SE18

Woolwich mixes new riverside blocks around the Royal Arsenal with long rows of Victorian terraces running up towards Plumstead and Shooters Hill. In both cases there is rarely space for a skip. Flats share car parks and loading areas, and the terraced roads are lined with parked cars. Our wait and load van is built for exactly that problem: we pull up, you load, we leave.

How a wait and load visit runs

• Send us photos on WhatsApp or use the quote form so we can price the job
• We agree a day, often same day or next day
• The van and crew arrive and wait while you load
• If you need a hand, our crew can help load on request
• We take the waste to licensed facilities and give you a waste transfer note

No skip is dropped off, no skip permit is needed, and nobody can sneak their old mattress into it overnight. When the van drives off, your stretch of road looks exactly as it did before. It also means you aren’t paying for a skip to sit idle while you wait for the next stage of a project, which is common with refits that run in phases.

Good fit for Woolwich projects

We see a lot of demand for a skip alternative from people living in apartments near Woolwich Arsenal station, where a skip simply isn’t an option. It also suits kitchen and bathroom refits in the older streets between Powis Street and Woolwich Common, garden clear-ups in Charlton and Abbey Wood, and builders who want waste gone at the end of a stage rather than sitting in a skip for a week. Tradespeople across SE18, SE28 and SE2 use it to keep sites tidy without the paperwork.

Accepted waste includes rubble, plasterboard offcuts, timber, old kitchen units, bathroom suites, furniture, garden waste and general household rubbish. We can’t take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals or liquid paint.

Prices and paperwork

Each job is priced on the volume and weight of the waste, so you only pay for what goes in the van. Price is on request: call, WhatsApp photos or fill in the form. We are a family run, fully licensed and insured company with over 15 years’ experience and 7,500+ happy customers. Our Environment Agency waste carrier number is CBDU333885, up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and nothing is ever fly-tipped.
