Rubbish Clearance Woolwich

Woolwich Rubbish Clearance Without the Skip

Woolwich has changed a great deal over the last twenty years. Alongside the Victorian streets running up towards Plumstead and Shooters Hill there are now large blocks of apartments at Royal Arsenal Riverside and around the Elizabeth line station, plus high-rise flats and ex-council estates across SE18. More people living closer together means more stairwells, more shared bin stores and less space to keep unwanted things. EM Waste Clearance takes that clutter away for you, whatever floor it is on.

Flats, lifts and loading

Plenty of Woolwich homes are flats, and getting a wardrobe or a mattress down several floors is the hardest part of any clearance. Our two or three person team handles all of it. We dismantle bulky furniture where needed, protect communal areas and carry everything down to the van. If your building has a concierge, a lift that must be booked or a time window for removals, tell us and we will work to it.

Things we regularly remove in SE18

• Sofas, beds, mattresses and wardrobes
• Old white goods, TVs and small electricals
• Bags of household rubbish and packaging from a move
• Garden clearance waste, green waste and old sheds
• Builders’ leftovers after a kitchen or bathroom refit
• Balcony, storage cupboard and bike store clear-outs

We cannot take asbestos, chemicals, gas bottles or liquid paint, so please let us know if any of those are in the mix and we will advise.

Fair pricing and proper disposal

The cost depends on the volume of waste and how easy it is to reach, and we always agree a fixed price before we start. That is usually cheaper than hiring a skip, and you avoid the hassle of a permit and of strangers adding their own rubbish to it overnight. Once loaded, your waste is sorted so that up to 90% can be recycled or reused, and anything in good condition is offered to charity where possible.

We are an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885), fully licensed and insured, and we provide a waste transfer note on every job. That matters because if a cheap collector fly-tips your rubbish, it can be traced back to you. With us it never is.

As well as central Woolwich we cover Plumstead, Charlton, Abbey Wood in SE2, Thamesmead in SE28 and the streets around Woolwich Common. After fifteen years and more than 7,500 customers, we know how to get in and out of most Woolwich roads with the minimum fuss.

Call free on 0800 910 1700 or WhatsApp photos to 07531 148 585 and we will come back with a price.
