Rubbish Clearance Blackheath

Rubbish Removal in Blackheath, SE3

Blackheath is a place where people renovate. Georgian and Victorian houses around the Village and the heath are constantly being restored, extended and refitted, and the result is a steady stream of old kitchens, lifted floorboards, stripped wallpaper and boxes. Add the usual household clutter from lofts and cellars and you have the kind of rubbish clearance EM Waste Clearance carries out every week. We collect it, load it and take it away, usually the same day or the next.

Mindful of older properties

Original staircases, cornicing and tiled hallways are worth protecting. Our two or three person team is careful moving items through period homes, dismantles bulky pieces rather than forcing them through doorways, and sweeps up before leaving. The same goes for the mansion flats near the station and the Span houses on the estates off Blackheath Park, where shared entrances and neighbours need a bit of consideration.

Things we collect

• General household rubbish, bags and boxes
• Loft, cellar and garage clear-outs
• Old kitchen units, timber, doors and other refurbishment waste
• Furniture, carpets, mattresses and white goods
• Garden waste and broken outdoor furniture

We can’t take hazardous waste, such as asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint and gas bottles.

A sensible alternative to a skip

Parking around Blackheath Village and the roads off Tranquil Vale is tight, and a skip on the street needs a permit and takes up a space for days. Hiring us means no skip, no permit and nothing left on the road for the neighbours to add to. You pay for the space your waste takes up in the van and how easy it is to reach, and we agree that fixed price before we start. Send a few photos to 07531 148 585 on WhatsApp for a quick quote. For many jobs it’s cheaper than a skip once you count the time and effort of loading one yourself.

Licensed and accountable

Blackheath straddles the London Borough of Lewisham and the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and we cover both sides. We’re a family-run business with 15+ years’ experience, fully licensed and insured, and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU333885). You’ll get a waste transfer note for every job. Up to 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and good items are passed on where possible. We never fly-tip.
