Rubbish Clearance Greenwich

Rubbish Clearance in Greenwich, SE10

Greenwich has a bit of everything: Georgian and Victorian terraces around Royal Hill and Crooms Hill, converted flats above shops on Greenwich High Road, and newer apartment blocks along the river towards the Peninsula. Each brings its own rubbish problem, whether that is a garden full of old timber, a loft that has not been touched in years or a balcony stacked with flat-pack boxes. EM Waste Clearance covers the whole of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the streets either side of it, so one call gets the lot moved.

Our two or three person team arrives in uniform, carries everything out, loads the van and sweeps up before leaving. You do not need to drag anything to the kerb first.

Why a man-and-van clearance beats a skip in SE10

Many Greenwich streets are narrow, lined with parked cars and close to the town centre, which makes a skip awkward to place and slow to fill. With our service there is no skip permit to arrange and no container sitting outside for a week. We park as close as the street allows, work quickly and leave. You only pay for the space your waste takes up in the van, and the price is fixed before any lifting begins.

What we collect

• Old furniture, mattresses and sofas
• Fridges, washing machines and other household appliances
• Garden waste, broken fencing and decking
• Bagged rubbish, cardboard and packaging
• DIY and renovation leftovers (not asbestos or liquid paint)
• Loft, shed and garage contents

We cannot take hazardous items such as asbestos, chemicals, gas bottles or tins of liquid paint, so please mention anything like that when you book.

Where it all goes

We sort each load so that up to 90% is recycled or reused, and good quality furniture is passed to charity where possible. Nothing is ever fly-tipped. As an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885) we hand you a waste transfer note on every job, which is your proof that the rubbish was disposed of legally.

We regularly work across East Greenwich, Westcombe Park, Deptford in SE8, Blackheath in SE3 and Charlton in SE7, as well as the flats around North Greenwich station. If you live in a block without a lift or with a tight stairwell, tell us when you get in touch so we can send the right number of people.

For a quick price, WhatsApp a few photos of your Greenwich rubbish to 07531 148 585, or call free on 0800 910 1700. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
