Furniture Disposal Deal

Furniture Disposal in Deal and Walmer

Deal’s conservation area is full of narrow streets and small Georgian and older cottages, especially around Middle Street and the lanes running down to Beach Street. Getting a sofa or a double bed out of one of those houses usually means tight turns, low ceilings and steep stairs. Our furniture disposal service in Deal is set up for exactly that, and works just as well for the larger Victorian and interwar homes in Upper Deal, Mill Hill and Walmer.

How a collection works

You send us a few photos or describe what needs to go, and we agree a fixed price based on how much van space it takes and how easy the access is. On the day, our two or three person uniformed team collects from whichever room the items are in, on any floor. Wardrobes, bed frames and big sofas are dismantled on site where needed, which protects walls and doorways and means nothing gets stuck halfway down the stairs. We sweep up before we leave.

What we can take

• Sofas, armchairs and sofa beds
• Beds, mattresses and bed frames
• Wardrobes, chests of drawers and cabinets
• Dining tables and chairs, desks and shelving
• Fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers and other white goods

Single items are welcome, so if you just need one old mattress or a broken recliner gone, that’s fine. We’ll also clear full van loads when you’re moving, downsizing or emptying a holiday let.

Parking near the seafront

Parking close to the seafront and in the older streets can be limited. When you book, tell us whether there’s anywhere for a van to stop nearby and we’ll plan the collection around it. We carry everything to the van ourselves, so you don’t need to put anything out on the pavement.

Avoiding the long wait

Council bulky collections can take weeks, and many charities won’t take upholstered furniture without fire labels. We can often collect the same day or next day. Furniture in good condition is passed on for reuse where possible; metal, timber and fabric are recycled; white goods go to licensed WEEE recyclers; and fridges and freezers go to licensed facilities that deal with the gases safely. We never fly-tip, and you’ll receive a waste transfer note from an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU333885).

We cover Deal, Walmer, Upper Deal, Mill Hill, Sholden, Great Mongeham, Kingsdown and Ringwould across Dover district.

Holiday let owners in Deal often book us between guests to replace tired beds and sofas, and we can work to a tight changeover window.
